Are you all enjoying the Super Sale as much as I am?? I am finding so many wonderful teacher creations today! I wanted to share something that I just uploaded last night with you, because I have been working on this for a while and have been really excited about it!
These are my Figurative Language Posters!
There are posters for 9 different types of figurative language, both with pictures (as shown above) and without. There is also a poster with the definitions of all 9 types of figurative language and posters with the figurative language Common Core standards for grades 3-6!
My students have been LOVING learning about figurative language! Each of my students made their own figurative language poster inspired by Tara! I love how they turned out!
We only did 6 types for these posters, but we have been doing other activities so they have been able to work on all the different types of figurative language! And they have been using figurative language a lot now in their own writing and pointing it out in books we are reading! The posters are a good reference to have up in the classroom for them!
